CABJ member since: 1996 EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in social science – York University Journalism diploma – Centennial College Diploma in TV production – RCA TV Studio School – New York New York Institute of Technology – studied communication arts CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 19-year career with Share newspaper, starting with its launch in 1978. Worked in the advertising industry in Trinidad and Tobago as a copywriter and producer of radio and television commercials. Researched documentaries on Caribbean labour leader T. Uriah Buzz Butler, and the early steelband movement in Trinidad and Tobago. Lecturer in journalism and new media communications at Centennial College. Produced 40 episodes of In The Black, a half-hour biography television show broadcast on OMNI Television. CURRENT JOB: News Writer/Editor – OMNI Television On-air commentator – OMNI Television Faculty member/program co-ordinator UTSC/Centennial College Journalism and New Media joint programs.
